Trash Trap

Here is another great idea for your old plastic bottles. Turn them into traps for fruit flies!! I saw this being used very successfully at Goedgedacht Farm where they have an organic Kei apple plantation.

HOW TO DO IT –

1. Cut the plastic bottle almost in half.
2. Fill the base with rotting fruit mush.
3. Wedge the top upside down inside the base.
4. Hang from a wire or rope in your fruit tree.
