Award-winning bus shelter made from upcycled cooldrink bottles by designer Aaron Scales – would be great to see something like this in Cape Town!
Bottlestop is an internationally recognized, award-winning bus shelter in Lexington, Kentucky designed by Aaron Scales, a young designer & graduate in Architecture from the University of Kentucky. The design of the Bottlestop is inspired by discarded trash on site, shelter reuses bottles of local soft drink, Ale-8-One, solar energy and LED lighting to promote public transportation.
I would love to see a few of these here as part of Cape Town’s new rapid bus service, MyCiti network.
