Working on Climate Change

New Episode of Ecobuzz:

On the 10/10/2010 people from around joined the 350.org Global Work Party – taking action against climate change. In Observatory, Cape Town, the community worked hard to transform a disused urban space into organic vegetable gardens.

BEN Red Hill Charity Challenge

Cycling for a cause – bringing mobility and empowerment to communities in need.

This year 97 riders competed in the Red Hill Charity Challenge to raise money for bicycles and training for communities who need mobility. The 29km circuit took riders through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Cape, testing their mettle with steep climbs! Many riders completed over 9 laps (+200km) on the day!

CLIMATE CHALLENGE 2009

On the 6 November 2009, Robert Zipplies (sustainability expert and editor of Bending the Curve) in partnership with Project 90 by 2030, embarked on an epic 3000km cycle through South Africa to raise awareness about climate change and challenge South Africans to take greater action and reduce their personal carbon emissions.
